About OPUS Associates
Since OPUS was founded in 1975 a growing number of people have shared the central interest that OPUS has in expanding our understanding of the processes especially unconscious processes that shape society and the institutions within it. OPUS tries to achieve this mainly through running educational events and undertaking consultancy with individuals, groups and organisations. The aim of the OPUS Associate scheme is to extend our activities by:
- expanding educational events
- disseminating them more widely
- encouraging and supporting the exchange of thoughts and ideas across the OPUS network
In addition we have been developing the range of our educational events. In the past most have been held in London. However, more recently, Listening Posts have been held in different parts of the country as well as in several overseas countries. In order to build on these initiatives and to further develop OPUS, we need to more fully utilise the interest and creativity of those who have shown an interest in OPUS activities.
