OPUS
Terms and Conditions of Sale
- OPUS Associate subscriptions are non-returnable and provide for Associate Membership of OPUS from the 1st of April to the 31st of March the following year. By exception, for new Associates joining after the 30th November, membership may run until the 31st March in the ensuing year. Associate subscriptions entitle Associates to two issues of the Journal each year and for reduced attendance fees at the annual conference and certain other events. Subscriptions should be paid before the 1st of April. Although we will endeavour to send reminders about the subscription renewal it is incumbent on the Associate member to renew their subscription before the start of each year.
- The Annual Conference fee, once registration has been confirmed, guarantees a place at the annual conference. Places are allocated on a “first come, first served” basis. In the event that an attendee wishes to cancel their attendance, the conference fee will be returned in full less a small administration charge, provided that the cancellation is notified at least four weeks prior to the first day of the conference. If the cancellation is notified after this date, other than in exceptional circumstances decided by OPUS, a refund will only be made if the place is taken and paid for by another member.
- Educational event fees once registration has been confirmed guarantee a place at the appropriate event. In the event of cancellation by an attendee less than one week prior to the event, OPUS reserves the right to retain all or part of the attendance fee.
- Cancellation of an OPUS event by OPUS will result in the return of the event fee in full. In such circumstances, OPUS will accept no responsibility for any loss or damage which an attendee may incur as a result of cancellation.
